Commuter rail study proposes five lines

The draft of a plan for commuter rail that uses existing freight right of way is now available for public comment through July 30. The study was commissioned by the Houston-Galveston Area Council. It calls for 5 new lines, including one out 290 and another to Galveston. Left out: Sugar Land and The Woodlands.
